How inspiring. The 13-year-old CoverGirl and YouTube star was a role model for so many during her life, and those loyal fans are now honoring her in the most amazing way possible — by doing all the things she was never able to.
Talia Joy Castellano was tragically taken from the world far too soon, but many of the people she inspired are making sure her dreams still come true.
Talia Joy Castellano: Fans Making Her Dying Wishes Come True
On July 17, a day after Talia died, her family posted a picture on Facebook of a list the honorary CoverGirl had made called, “Things I Wanna Do Before I Die.” The amazingly strong and inspirational 13-year-old had thought of 74 things to put on her bucket list.
She unfortunately died before fulfilling all of her wishes, but her numerous followers have admirably taken the torch and are crossing things off the list one by one.
Ever since the original list was posted, fans have been posting their own photos on Facebook and Twitter under the hashtag, “#taliasbucketlist.”
Activities so far have included covering an entire car in post-it notes, dancing in the rain, parasailing, and even burning secrets.
Talia Joy Castellano: Fans Keep Her Spirit Alive
Talia’s strength and bravery in the face of a seven-year-long battle with the childhood cancer neuroblastoma and also leukemia has touched the hearts of people everywhere, and it is amazing to see them all take action to honor her in such a symbolic and heartwarming way.
“Talia is everywhere you look and we couldn’t be more pleased,” her family wrote on Facebook. “And we especially know she is loving all the attention.”
“Thank you for keeping her spirit alive and showing her family that her message and voice will continue to make an impact across the globe,” the family added.
What an amazing development to an already inspiring story. Let’s all continue to make Talia’s dreams come true and cross off every wish on her bucket list!
