Plus, have Drew & Eli ever actually met? HollywoodLife.com gets to the bottom of this most-pressing issue.
After getting off to a rocky — not to mention crazy – start last week, Degrassi‘s summer season continues July 18; and who better to preview the drama ahead than two of the show’s finest, Luke Bilyk and Munro Chambers? The hallway heartthrobs stopped by HollywoodLife.com earlier this week to discuss Drew’s “different” summer, the “huge toll” Clare’s cancer will take on her relationship with Eli, and the all-important question: Why have Drew and Eli never interacted?
I know it’s hard to believe, but the guys confirmed my suspicions: Drew and Eli have never actually exchanged words. They’ve shared several of scenes — Luke and Munro fondly remember that time they “looked out a window together” — but sadly, no dialogue ever happened.
Maybe someday.
Season 13 Spoilers: Expect The Unexpected
Brace yourselves, Degrassi fans, because it sounds like some big (and bad) is coming. Remember when Cam (Dylan Everett) killed himself last season, and no one thought this show could possibly get more intense?
Well, according to Munro, “they’re stepping it up again” for something even darker.
Adds Luke, “There’s definitely an interesting and intense plot twist that happens throughout the summer. I think it’ll be interesting to see how it affects Drew and Eli, for sure.”
Vague much?!
HollywoodLifers, how do YOU hope season 13 turns out for Eli, Drew and the rest of the Degrassi gang? Drop a comment with your thoughts and theories below!
