The Disney grads look out for one another! Demi recently talked about Miley’s wild new path — and she seems wary of Ms. Cyrus’ actions!
Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus are longtime friends and co-workers, thanks to their work on Disney Channel. But even though they got their start on the same kid-friendly network, they’ve paved two very different paths in their adult careers — with Miley’s being a bit more extreme. So what does Demi think of Miley’s negative habits?
Demi Lovato Is ‘Protective’ Of Miley Cyrus
In a recent interview with MTV, Demi was asked about her thoughts on Miley’s song “We Can’t Stop.” Although she said it’s “great,” she also referenced the craziness in the video, which is somewhat indicative of Miley’s new wild-child lifestyle.
"[Miley] knows how I feel about the whole partying thing,” Demi said. “I love her to death, and I'm always like, 'Okay just be careful.' And she's like, 'Dude, I'm chilling. It's fine.'"
Demi acknowledged that Miley seems to have everything under control, but because of their close friendship, Demi can’t help burt look out for Miley.
“I care for her so much [that] I'm so protective, but she's good,” she said. “She's got a good head on her shoulders."
Demi Lovato Shares Her Thoughts About Miley Cyrus’ Twerking
Miley has made her ability to twerk very public, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed; Demi even acknowledged it in her interview!
“She’s twerking, and she looks amazing doing it,” Demi said.
The video for “We Can’t Stop” might be a little crazy for Demi’s taste, but she said the song itself is a good one.
“It’s a song that a lot of people have fun to, and if people are enjoying it, then great,” she said.
Demi is known for being an extremely supportive friend, so it’s no surprise that she’s wary of what Miley is up to!
