His Royal Highness Prince of Cambridge may only be one day old, but he’s a complete pro at charming the crowds! Proud parents Kate Middleton, 31, and Prince William, 31, showed off their newborn as they were leaving St. Mary’s Hospital on July 23, stopping to pose for pictures and answer a few questions from the press. All eyes were on the new family, and the royal baby definitely did not disappoint his waiting crowds!
Royal Baby Waves At First Public Appearance
In his very first public appearance, the heir to the royal throne had people absolutely falling in love with him already! Wrapped in a sweet white blanket, the little boy poked his little hand out, waving at the crowds as his mom and dad waved too. The new family exited the Lindo Wing of the hospital where Kate gave birth just the day before.
William Address Crowd Outside of St. Mary’s Hospital
In the short interview, Prince William addressed the crowds that had been gathered for days awaiting the royal baby’s birth. The new parents were beaming with pride as they answered questions from the press.
“It’s very emotional, it’s such a special time, I think any parent knows what this feeling feels like,” the new mom said, as her husband chimed in, calling the experience “very special.”
