Just call them Uncle Joe and Uncle Nick! Now that Kevin’s wife Danielle is expecting the couple’s first child, Joe and Nick are about to become uncles, and they couldn’t be more ‘thrilled’!
Joe and Nick Jonas may only be 23 and 20, respectively, but they will soon be uncles to the newest member of the Jonas family. As they expressed on Twitter the day Danielle Jonas announced she was pregnant, they can’t wait to be uncles!
Joe Jonas & Nick Jonas: ‘Prepared’ To Be Uncles
Knowing that Kevin Jonas, 25, and his wife having been talking about having a baby for quite some time, Joe and Nick have been anxiously waiting to become uncles.
While visiting Z100′s studios in New York City on July 25, Joe said it hasn’t entirely set in that it is finally happening, but they are ready. He told the radio station:
We are prepared. It’s kind of one of those things that will actually hit us once the baby’s here, but we are really thrilled. When Kevin and Dani told us, we kind of freaked out and couldn’t believe it.
Joe, who tweeted that he is “so pumped” to be an uncle on July 9, said the family is “very excited” for a baby Jonas.
“I think this is a good time for adding a new member of the family,” he said, as Us Weekly reported. ”You obviously don't really know what to expect until he or she is actually here but then it will all kind of sink in. You just talk about it, but when we're actually able to hold that baby, our niece or nephew, that will be exciting.”
Kevin Jonas Reveals He & Danielle Jonas Have ‘A Lot Of Names’ For Baby Jonas
Although Kevin and Danielle haven’t decided if they will find out the gender of their baby before it arrives, the couple has begun searching for the perfect name. Kevin told Z100:
We have a lot of names. We’re having trouble with more of the boy names, but we’re alright.
Just as he sounded like he might reveal what some of those name options are, he laughed and said, “but I’m not gonna tell you any!”
Regardless of whether Kevin and Danielle decide to reveal — or even find out — their baby’s gender, he said fans are still extremely excited for their baby’s arrival. They’ve even started giving the couple presents already!
“We’re getting so many gifts from the fans,” he said. “We’ve been collecting them in each city and I have an entire area in one of the buses just filled with boxes of gifts from these fans.”
It sounds like Joe and Nick aren’t the only ones who are thrilled for the birth of the first Jonas baby!
