The singer looked stunning in a form-fitting gown and statement emerald jewels while she belted out the National Anthem — did you love her look?
Beyonce wowed the crowd when she performed the National Anthem at President Barack Obama's second inauguration on Jan. 21 in Washington, D.C., and she dressed to impress for the occasion, putting her killer curves on full display in a black Emilio Pucci mermaid gown with velvet detailing. The 31-year-old star covered up in the brisk weather, wearing a fur Christian Dior coat over her flowing frock. An emerald Lorraine Schwartz cocktail ring and bold, matching statement earrings by the designer really made the outfit pop.
Beyonce sounded amazing singing "The Star Spangled Banner," while her proud hubby, Jay-Z, looked out in the crowd. The superstar was accompanied by the United States Marine Band while she sang the National Anthem. The fashionable First Lady, Michelle Obama, also looked on with tears in her eyes. She also looked so stylish, wearing a custom-made Thom Browne coat and dress for the occasion. Michelle, like Beyonce, knows how to really enhance her figure — and she did so thanks to an embellished J. Crew belt that she wore over her checkered coat, cinching in her waist. Earlier in the day we saw the First Lady in a pair of J. Crew pumps, but she slipped into knee-high Reed Krakoff boots for the outdoor ceremony at the Capitol.
What do you think of Beyonce’s dress? There’s no denying the fact that Beyonce is simply stunning, and her inner diva shines through even when she’s wearing a t-shirt. While I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous, the gown did seem a bit formal for the morning ceremony — but the star is never one to shy away from glamour!
After seeing her stun in this Pucci gown I really can’t wait to see what she’ll wear to the Inauguration Ball this evening.
