The first daughters wore cute bright coats again for their dad Barack Obama’s second inauguration on Jan. 21! Malia opted for J. Crew like she wore in 2009, and Sasha’s coat is by Kate Spade! What do YOU think of their looks?
Sasha and Malia Obama are trendsetters like their mom First Lady Michelle Obama, and rocked pretty plum colors for their coats on Jan. 21. The first daughters wore bright outerwear for their dad Barack Obama‘s iconic second inauguration on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Sasha and Malia’s coats were reminiscent of the pretty wool coats they wore on the previous inauguration in 2009 when Sasha wore a pale pink coat matched with an orange scarf, and Malia rocked a vibrant royal blue color. Both of their coats were designed by J. Crew for their kids crewcuts line.
For the second inauguration on Jan. 21, Malia wore a J. Crew ensemble again, including her pretty plum peacoat and dress underneath, according to the Today show. Sasha’s coat and dress were created by designer Kate Spade, the Today show is reporting – and her peacoat and dress underneath were both the same purple color!
The first daughters wore similar-colored coats from the same color palette, and their mom’s navy patterned coat also matched — how adorable!
Malia also wore her hair in sleek straight strands like her mom, while Sasha styled her hair in pretty curls. We can’t wait to see their outfits underneath during their dad’s second inauguration ceremony.
