Rob was spotted having fun with some male friends in an Adelaide bar on Jan. 25 — is he trying to forget about Kristen Stewart?
Robert Pattinson looks like he is having a ball in Australia, as he is keeping busy sampling the Adelaide nightlife while he is filming new movie The Rover. Is he trying to forget about his estranged girlfriend Kristen Stewart? HollywoodLife.com previously reported that Rob, 26, and Kristen, 22, were going on a "trial separation" while he's down under — and it sounds like they're really sticking to that plan. Fan Tweets About Seeing Robert Pattinson At The Bar
Rob was out in a bar with friends when he was spotted by a Twitter user named @plaank_ . She documented the sighting in a series of tweets, and she is the photographer of the new picture.
“Sooo I’m at the bar rob pattinson is supposed to make an appearance at tonight.. Keepin an eye out.” says the fan. She is a clearly underage, as she wrote: ”The one day I get ID’d and cant get into the bar is the night robert pattinson is there. Are u kidding me!?!! #SOCLOSE.”
The fan was very excited when she met Rob, as she tweeted: ”I JUST MET ROBERT PATTINSON” and “Not even a twilight fan but how cool is it to meet someone famous? And pauly D [Pauly D] was here this week too like wtf.” She uploaded the picture and wrote ”Ok prob the shi**iest picture ever but if you can see it… it’s pattinson”. So exciting!
She notes how lucky she was to have seen Rob: ”I’m actually gassssed that he ignored everyone else trying to talk to him, and he walked up and talked to me,” and ”Lmao pathetic I actually waited in the cold for 2 hours just for him to come up to me, say a quick hello and he was on his way.”
How cool! This is not the first time Rob has sampled the Adelaide nightlife, as he was pictured partying at Zhivago nightclub with friends on Jan. 20.

Rob was seen with a group of four male friends when he went to Zhivago bar, wearing a dark cap and a white T shirt. He seemed pretty incognito as he chilled in the smoking section with his friends. At one point, Rob pulled his knees to his chest and made a funny face, and he appeared to be holding a glass of whiskey.
As Rob and his pals were laughing and having fun, the Twilight star looked like he didn't have a care in the world. Is Rob partying to forget his drama with Kristen?
"Kristen is desperate to get out to Australia because she misses Rob," a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. "But he's being ambivalent about the whole thing."
Fans may want to see Rob and Kristen reunited — ourselves included, as we wrote five reasons why she should fly to Australia — but our source reveals that not everyone is eager to see them come face to face.
"Behind the scenes, people are hoping that she doesn't go [in case the paparazzi] get pics of her upset, or a blow out between them," our source explains. "[The Breaking Dawn Part 2 DVD] is coming out in March, and they want to give it some time to breathe and make money before they get too emotional together."
In fact, Kristen's team is "begging her to put on a happy face and be normal, because she makes a lot of money off the back end of [Breaking Dawn Part 2], so if the DVD sells a lot, she can cash out."
