Vanessa Hudgens, 24, has been all smiles about her pretty, short haircut, as she hit up fashion parties in New York City. Her new, face-framing ‘do is a sophisticated new style for the starlet. Do you miss her long, flowing locks, or are you totally feeling her new style? Sound off below!

Vanessa posted the pic of her stylish new crop on her blog, with the funny caption, “… Short hair, don't care!” Even though she looks great with any haircut, we’re surprised that she chose this shoulder length style, given her hair history!
The last time Vanessa ditched her long, boho hairstyle, she wasn’t too keen on the sudden dramatic change. When she cut her hair for her role in Gimme Shelter in 2011, she confessed her hair woes to Access Hollywood, saying "Honestly, I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we're going to let that go. There's nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I'm only 22! I miss [my hair,] believe me, I do, but there's nothing I can do about it.” After that cut, she immediately started wearing wigs and extensions to mimic her lost locks.
Maybe she has taken on a more lax style philosophy! We love that she is taking more risks with her hair and trying out more interesting styles. No need to take her hair so seriously anymore: if she grows tired of the cut, she can always transition back to wigs and extensions!
