A new report states that the fashionable First Lady was shot by the magazine for the second time — and we can’t wait to see what she’s wearing for her latest high-fashion shoot!
Oh say can you see Vogue‘s camera crew rolling through the White House? It looks like history repeats itself for the stylish leading lady. Not only did she repeat a designer worn to the previous inaugural ball, but she may also have a second front cover feature in the works for the high-fashion mag!
Michelle Obama, 49, is someone commonly recognized as one of the best dressed ladies in America — and it looks like she’ll be flaunting her fashion sense in Vogue this spring. The First Lady was first featured on the cover of the magazine back in March 2009.
According to the Washingtonian‘s blog, the Vogue team was seen rolling cameras into the White House on Jan. 31. The report says famed photog Annie Leibovitz will shoot the First Lady for the cover. Whether she has landed another cover or simply a feature, there’s no denying that fact that we can’t wait to see what she wears!
While the report claims the shoot was for the March cover it seems highly unlikely given how far in advance magazines go to print — however we wouldn’t be surprised if an exception was made for the First Lady. The March cover has come under much speculation, with rumors claiming the coveted spot could also go to Beyonce.
White House correspondent for CBS News Mark Knoller confirmed the Vogue White House visit via twitter, saying, “Today at the WH. No public events on the president’s schedule today, though Vogue is bringing camera gear into the WH this morning.”
A rep for the mag tells the Washingtonian, "We never comment on rumors about future editorial."
It is being said that the star will be involved in all of the wardrobe and accessory choices for the shoot and with her taste in style, she certainly should be. Known for her all-American style with a hint of glamour we are sure she’ll look fantastic in whatever she wears. She is known for wearing designers more than once, as well as sporting common American brands like J.Crew. Let’s not forget that she wore Jason Wu not only to her first Inaugural Ball, but to her second ball, too!
