Two months after delivering her youngest child, Matthew McConaughey’s wife opened up to the women on ‘The View’ about how tough her pregnancy was — and her difficult road to recovery.
Camila Alves welcomed her third child with husband Matthew McConaughey in December, but the model and mom of three revealed on The View on March 13 that her pregnancy with her third baby was the most difficult yet! As the mom to Levi, 4, and Vida, 3, she knew something was wrong this time around. Scary!
“This time around it has been a really tough recovery. I had a really tough pregnancy,” she told the women on March 13. “I had a all kind of things happen throughout the pregnancy. I had really tough pains and I kept telling the doctors.”
When it came to delivery, she said the pains were bad again and she ended up having a C-section, and is now recovering from that surgery as well.
“I am not able to exercise because of the recovery that I have now,” she explained. “I can’t pick up my kids really, I have another four weeks to go.”
Camila Alves’ Strict Post-Baby Diet
Camila also had to learn how to eat with a new diet post-baby, and she is drinking a gallon of water all day. She also revealed how hard it is to not have dairy because she is trying to lose weight and she is breast feeding.
Sherri was sure to comment on how skinny the model looked, but Camila assures that the baby weight is still there.
“It’s hiding over there,” she joked and motioned around her stomach.
Luckily, Levingston was delivered happy and healthy — and mom and baby are doing great!
