Today, Mar. 13, is the most amazing day because more photos of Rob’s teen modeling days have surfaced. The pictures are sort of cute! Well, they’re at least interesting. Click on to see Rob like you’ve never seen him before.
Before Robert Pattinson was Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga, before he was Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter, before he acted in ANY movie, he was an extremely young, somewhat androgynous underwear model. And now we can finally see all the fruits of his modeling labors.
Robert Pattinson’s Interesting Modeling Pics
Don’t worry if these pictures make you feel a little uneasy — this is a 14-year-old boy modeling underwear for a Chinese fashion magazine, you should worry if they DON’T make you feel a bit strange!
Taken in 2001, the pictures show Rob in a variety of poses, some with a female companion, some without, all with a black linen scarf. Like some fashion shoots, this one is rather sparse with Rob and his blonde model partner sitting on a white block against an all-white background.
Besides the black scarf, Rob is also sporting black boxers with white designs, black knee-high socks, and black loafers with white toe caps. He’s shirtless in every photo.
Robert Pattinson: Before He Ruled Hollywood
The first thing you notice looking through these photos is their overall weirdness, but studying them closer, I find I’m more intrigued to see this young Robert Pattinson — a shadow of the man that we know now in 2013. Everything about 14-year-old Rob is so young. It looks like him, sure, but he just looks so new. The pictures will definitely make you laugh, but they might also amaze you — this little runt in only knee-high socks and boxers is the guy who took over Hollywood. The teenage boy with a girly face is the man that women everywhere lust after.
It’s amazing what 12 years can do.
