90210 returns from its month-long hiatus April 15 with the final five episodes of the series — but just because the show is coming to an end, that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty of time to hash out some new relationship drama. Charlie Weber tells HollywoodLife.com that Mark’s budding romance with Silver (Jessica Stroup) will be the “catalyst” for some major developments, including the “reigniting” of Silver’s feud with Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes)!
“Adrianna’s not happy, that’s very clear,” Charlie notes. “[Silver and Adrianna] have their own history with that kind of thing, and this definitely brings back those old feelings.”
Methinks that Silver snatching Mark out from under Adrianna will also inspire Ade to do something crazy and unexpected — you know, like hooking up with Navid.
90210 Series Finale: Will Fans Be Satisfied By The Ending?
As a long-time fan of 90210, I was bummed to learn that it’ll be ending this season, but Charlie promises the series finale will offer fans much of the closure we’re hoping for.
“I don’t think [the writers] could have done better, given the time frame they had to wrap things up,” Charlie says. “There’s no way for any ending to be perfect, so in a sense, it’ll just be perfect no matter how it ends. I think they did a very good job.”
Not only does it sound like Mark is sticking around through the end of the series, but if 90210 had gotten a sixth season, his relationship with Silver would have become even more intense.
“Mark’s in there pretty much until the end,” he tells me. “You’re going to see where his story line [with Silver] goes. The idea would have been, yes, that the Silver surrogacy story line would have become more vocal in season six. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see that; and I really mean ‘unfortunately,’ because it’s such a great set.”
