Kate Middleton Antique Shopping: Looking For Baby Furniture?
The pregnant Duchess had her eye on some antique pieces, but onlookers say she walked away empty-handed. Kate and some of her friends browsed the antique shops in Holt and nearby Fakenham in north Norfolk on April 13. But she left Mews Antique Emporium, which sells furniture, books and various knickknacks, without any purchased goods, despite browsing the many rooms.
A source at the store tells People:
She came in with a friend of hers but didn’t buy anything.
Another spokesperson for the Emporium tells the Daily Mail:
The Duchess looked radiant and well. She was happy to mingle with other customers and security was very low key. No purchases were made by the Duchess, although some were made by her friends.
