Second time is a charm for Leah as she gets married to Jeremy just a year after her divorce from Corey. Plus, Kieffer moves in with Jenelle, Chelsea turns 21 and Kailyn and Javi get engaged! Read on for the full ‘Teen Mom 2′ recap.
Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert take the plunge with a lavish lakeside South Carolina wedding on the April 15 episode of Teen Mom 2, and Leah promises her new groom that this will officially be her last wedding.
Leah & Jeremy Have Rain On Their Wedding Day — Good Luck?
Even though Leah and Jeremy’s romance was a whirlwind — and she had just gotten divorced from her baby daddy Corey Simms the year before — the mom to twins Ali and Aleeah couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle to her new groom.
While their families arrived in South Carolina in preparation for their lakeside wedding, Leah promises Jeremy that their sandy nuptials will 100 percent be her last wedding. Even though she and Jeremy legally got married a couple weeks prior, and even though she had done the whole white wedding dress traditional ceremony thing with her ex, Corey.
“You put me through hell,” Jeremy says (he’s correct), but he’s excited for his first — and hopefully last — wedding.
But on their big day, it starts raining and won’t let up! Luckily, rain on your wedding day is good luck, and the entire wedding party has a blast dancing in the sand and precipitation. When Jeremy and Leah exchange vows, their tears of joy reveal their promise to commitment — and even the twins want in on the action! They help them pour the sand, and during the reception, the new happy family all dances together.
Kieffer Moves In With Jenelle, But What About Jace?
Jenelle Evans and her on-again boyfriend Kieffer Delp are stronger than ever, and how her not-as-deadbeat boyfriend wants to move in with Jenelle! She’s pretty sure her mom Barbara Evans won’t be thrilled about it, but Kieffah has his own pipe-making business (for smoking tobacco, naturally), so he’s a real-life adult.
Meanwhile, Jenelle’s son Jace is about to turn three, and she can’t believe where the time has gone — mainly because she only gets to see her boy once or twice a week. But they all have a birthday celebration regardless, and sweet little Jace has a blast.
At the child-friendly play gym is a great place to Jenelle to bring up her financial troubles. She reveals to Babs that she has no concept of managing her money, and wasted so much of her cashflow (courtesy of MTV) on marijuana. She is negative $600 in her account, and Babs warns that Jenelle needs a financial planner or someone to help her manage her funds — especially if she wants custody back of Jace. Will Jenelle ever get her priorities in order?
Chelsea Celebrates Her 21st Birthday — But Not Without Adam Drama
Chelsea Houska is about to turn 21, and she can’t wait to have her “last hoorah,” especially since she feels like she never goes out anymore after juggling school and taking care of Aubree.
Her ex Adam Lind is certainly not invited to the festivities, and Chelsea just wants to go out to dinner with her friends and enjoy come cocktails. Luckily, her mom is taking care of Aubree, so she can be out all night! At dinner, she and her heavily makeup-clad friends take shot after shot, and move the party from the restaurant to a bar.
But once they move to the bar, Chelsea runs into Adam’s friends — and apparently word gets back to him, because he starts texting Chelsea! He asks her how many guys she can make out with in a night (an allegation Chelsea never really answers), and seems more interested in her night out than his own girlfriend.
Chelsea secretly loves the drama, but she’ll never admit it. All in all, her birthday was a success!
Kailyn & Javi Get Engaged & Keep It A Secret (Sort Of)
Kailyn Lowry and her boyfriend Marroquin know they want to get married, but Kailyn also wants an official proposal so she’s not left with a courthouse wedding and none of the romance. Luckily, Javi was listening, and he pulled out all the stops for his woman! He dressed up in a suit and put Isaac in a matching dapper outfit, and drove Kailyn out to her hometown to pop the question. He got down on one knee and presented the ring — a perfect proposal!
But now that Kailyn and Javi are ready to walk down the aisle, she’s not sure how she’ll break the news to her ex Jo Rivera. Espeically since Javi is joining the Air Force, and they could potentially move away. She tells a couple of her close friends and family, but is still waiting to break the news to Jo.
In the meantime, Kailyn’s gorgeous sparkler on her finger and her new smiles is all the proof we need to know she is extremely happy, and can’t wait to get married!
