Miley, I know you’re a big star and may not have wanted to steal the spotlight from Liam at the MTV Movie Awards, but you are his fiancée and non-celebrity fiancées show up for their lovers’ big moments.
Miley Cyrus, when it comes to the MTV Movie Awards, it’s time for you and Liam Hemsworth to stop thinking like stars.
Miley Cyrus, Be Liam’s Biggest Cheerleader
Stop thinking about what publicists may tell you to do; stop worrying about overexposing yourself or your relationship.
And start thinking about the fact that you’re supposed to be each other’s biggest supporters.
That means going together to both private and public events. So if Liam is appearing at the MTV Movie Awards introducing an exciting new preview clip of Catching Fire, the next Hunger Games installment, you should go with him.
And why wouldn’t you want to go and show how proud you are of him for starring in such a blockbuster movie franchise?
I realize that celebrities and especially celebrity couples seem to feel that they should mysteriously keep their relationships under wrap.
But in your case, you have been very publicly engaged. You’ve talked very openly in interviews about how much you love and respect Liam. And you’ve explained what makes your relationship work.
So it isn’t exactly like you’ve had the most private of relationships.
Miley, Your Behavior Helped Fuel The Break Up Rumors
As well, you have to acknowledge that there’s been a huge amount of a speculation recently about why you took your engagement ring off.
Whether you fueled the speculation intentionally or not, by choosing an odd time to get the ring ”cleaned,” your actions added to the internet uproar.
Odd timing as in, you weren’t wearing it immediately after multiple reports that Liam was flirting and possibly kissing January Jones at an Oscars pre-party. Why was he even out solo at Oscar pre-parties anyway, when you were most definitely in LA too? Hmm.
Following that huge gossip eruption, Liam took off for a solo vacation to Australia, further fueling the speculation that you two had split.
Fortunately, it appears that whatever did or didn’t happen between you two, you are now back together.
Miley, Show How Much You Love Liam
But that’s why it’s even more important to let your love and togetherness show in public.
Squelch the unnecessary speculation AND do what comes naturally – be there for each other.
Non-celebrity madly in love couples are addicted to spending time together. In fact, they can barely stand to be apart. Don’t you guys want to spend every possible moment together like any normal non-star couple?
You already have had to endure too many separations due to competing work schedules and Liam’s vacation in Australia.
Wouldn’t it have been fun to be by Liam’s side at the MTV Movie Awards? It would have been a cool experience to share.
If you want to have lots in common as well as shared memories, it’s best to share as many life experiences as possible.
This could be one of those memorable occasions. So next time one of you has a big public moment where you can be proud of one another – be there!
Miley, don’t listen to the professionals if they’re telling you to ditch your man publicly. Next time, go with you heart.
