After the horrific Boston Marathon bombing attack last month, famous musical groups including Aerosmith, New Kids on the Block, and more have come together to put on a benefit concert to raise money for the victims of the terrible tragedy. On May 30, thousands of Boston Natives will fill the TD Garden in Boston to honor the victims of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings. Musical acts ranging from Aerosmith to Jason Aldean will take the stage to raise money for everyone affected by the bombings. Although the show is sold out, you can enjoy the benefit concert for The One Fund Boston from the comfort of your own home!
Boston Strong Benefit Concert
The concert features performances by Boston natives like Aerosmith, James Taylor, and New Kids On The Block. Other musical acts for the Boston Strong benefit concert include Jimmy Buffet, Boston, Jason Aldean, Extreme, J Geils Band, Carole King, and Dropkick Murphys. There’s even a possibility that Mark Wahlberg and the Funky Bunch will join the lineup too!
Comedians Dane Cook and Steven Wright will also take the stage to provide entertainment and help lighten the mood.
Boston Strong Benefitting The One Fund
All proceeds of Boston Strong benefit concert will go to The One Fund. The One Fund was formed by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino to help the people affected by the tragic terrorist bombings at the Boston Marathon on April 15. So far, The One Fund has raised over $31 million. After the concert tonight, we can’t wait to see how much money the organization raises!
