With so much attention focused on Kim Kardashian and her new daughter, how does the childless Kardashian stay relevant? Corn rows and self-tanner. Okay, it’s really about her outfit, but seriously, please note the corn rows.
Khloe Kardashian, 28, proudly showed off her slimmer figure while promoting the new Kardashian self-tanning line at the Ulta Beauty Event in Burbank, CA on June 19. In one of summer hottest colors, the reality t.v. star and NBA baller’s wife had glowing, beautiful skin, but didn’t really wow us with her outfit. She’s selling the new product well but but we’re not sold on her overall look!
Khloe’s Mint and Blue Mishap
We give her an “A” for effort but a “B-” in fashion. In mint La Marque green shorts, a sheer, Equipment blouse and blue Giuseppe Zanotti platforms, Khloe looked pretty, but not quite right. Her sheer top exposed her new, trimmer figure but also exposed her bra in an “Oops, I forgot to put on a bandeau” kind of way. While her legs looked great in those summery shorts, her heels were a brighter blue than every other shade she wore and they kind of clashed. Each individual piece of Khloe’s outfit we love, but together they somehow don’t mesh.
Oh, and can we talk about her hair? Be honest, you either love or loathe the corn rows. We’re definitely leaning towards loathe. Do they add to the island feel of the outfit? Yes. Are they fitting for the debut of the new self-tanning line? We suppose. But do they look good on her? Maybe. Maybe not. In stronger, better put together outfit we think she would be killing it with the corn rows. This, however, is a little too much of a “back from vacation” look for us, (and her).
