Kim K may have rented out a deluxe maternity suite at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, Calif., but because baby Kimye decided to come early, her room reportedly wasn’t ready for her. Instead of the celebrity suite, she had to deal with a normal hospital room!
Kim Kardrashian had her birth suite at Cedars Sinai hospital all ready to go and was anticipating her baby’s arrival — until it came three weeks early on June 15! Because of the early arrival, the fancy rooms were already reserved, so Kim and her crew were forced to stay in a room for normal hospital residents. Blasphemy!
Kim Kardashian Had To Stay In A Normal Hospital Room
Kim didn’t leave the hospital until June 19, so she still got to enjoy some time in the $3,320-per-night hospital suite equipped with a flatscreen TV, food service and spa arrangements, but her first experience in the hospital reportedly wasn’t quite so luxurious!
HollywoodLife.com exclusively reported that Kim and boyfriend Kanye West wanted to stay into a suite was for “privacy and security.“ The source said:
That's the real reason why they're doing it, so people won't be trying to get all up in their space trying to look at the baby and everything. That's not going to happen. Kanye really wants this to be a special moment. He's about to have his first baby with Kim, and he wants to savor that moment and doesn't want anything or anyone to mess it up!
Kanye West Bumps Into Dwight Howard At The Hospital
As Kanye was waiting for Kim to give birth, he roamed around the hospital — only to bump into basketball star Dwight Howard! According to TMZ, Dwight’s newest baby momma (he has three others) was occupying one of the hospital suites, but Dwight and Kanye got along famously anyway, with Kanye letting Dwight get an early listen of his new album, Yeezus.
No reports have been released about whether Kim actually had to give birth in a regular hospital room, but we hope Kim and Kanye got the “special moment” they were hoping for!
