All eyes were on Madonna at the screening for the MDNA Tour Documentary in New York City, when she showed up in a 1930′s getup! Madonna has never held back when it comes to expressing herself and we are totally in love with her latest look!
On June 18, Madonna, 54, went to the premiere of her MDNA Tour Documentary in NYC and looked fabulous in a black and white women’s tuxedo, in honor of her idol, the popular actress Marlene Dietrich. Madonna completed the classic look with a top hat and a white bow tie. Her hair is curled and pinned up at just above shoulder length. Madonna’s makeup artist Sammy H. Mourabit helped her achieve this glamorous look, inspired by Marlene’s iconic role in the 1930′s movie Morocco. Madonna’s look may have been inspired by Marlene, but we’re inspired by Madonna’s bold choice! Here’s how you can get the retro look!

Madonna’s ’30′s makeup is a must and we suggest using Sammy’s recommended Votre Vu products, specifically, Votre Vu’s Love Me Deux Concealer. Dab this on around the eyebrow to conceal excess hair after you’ve created the signature ’30′s brow. This will give the illusion of a perfectly groomed eye without having to over-pluck. You can also use this under the eyes or on darker areas of your skin to get an evenly toned face. Be sure to also highlight the cheekbones with a light bronzer.
From here you can move on to those luscious lips! Use some bold lip liner and two shades of lipstick — a dark tone, like a deep red, for the outer lines of the lip and lighter tones on the inner lip. This will make your lips glow and will give them that sensuous appeal.
Apply mascara and even some false lashes so your eyes can really pop! Finish it off with light rouge on the cheeks and you’ll look like you’re from another time!
