Chris Colfer is finally speaking out about the tragic death of his late Glee co-star Cory Monteith. The 23-year-old has remained quiet since Cory, 31, was found dead after overdosing on heroin and alcohol in his Toronto hotel room on July 13. But on July 25, Chris decided to post a few words to his over 2 million Twitter followers.
Chris Colfer Breaks Silence on Cory Monteith
Cory wanted to remind his fans of the happier times he shared with Cory, so instead of posting something sad, he opted to remember how much fun they’d have during interviews. He tweeted about how they would laugh nonstop and make weird faces after they were asked “awkward” questions.
The pic is a screenshot that Chris posted, which appears to be from one of their interviews.
“I’ll never forget all the laughs we shared or the faces,” he wrote. “We made after awkward interview questions…”
‘Glee’ Cast Holds Private Memorial For Cory
We told you that Lea, along with Glee creator Ryan Murphy, held a tribute at Paramount Studios. 20th Century Fox Television released a statement about the private gathering.
“Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time.”
We told you that after, Kevin McHale, Dianna Agron, Darren Cris, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Harry Shum Jr. went to A.O.C. restaurant for lunch.
Lea has yet to speak out about Cory’s death or be spotted out in public.
