Although she’s a major style star she isn’t afraid to dish on the trends she wished she hadn’t tried! WATCH Sels spill on her red carpet style and get a sneak peek at her new fall Dream Out Loud line.

Selena Gomez, 21, is one we love to watch on the red carpet because she always gets it right. While we love all of her looks, the star admitted to a few fashion misses over the years!

Selena Gomez On The Trend She’ll Never Wear Again:

Although the star looks just as good when she’s dressing down, don’t expect her to break out sneakers on the red carpet at a glam event! She went there once (ok, maybe more than once), and she’s never going back. “I remember going on my first red carpet with skinny jeans and sneakers like, awesome, this is not a look that I would do ever again … I feel like when I wore sneakers and a lot of jeans to red carpet my stylist was really mortified,” the star joked before adding in, “Never again!” Although Selena may be embarrassed by the look, we thought it was age appropriate and cute — and we’ve definitely seen way worse on the red carpet in Hollywood!

Selena Gomez’s Red Carpet Style — Her Favorite Look:

The star’s style has evolved as she’s grown older and she clearly has it all figured out — she’s such a pro! Selena even gushed about her favorite red carpet looks, saying her recent Billboard awards Versace dress is a major favorite. “I think the Billboard 2013 look was really fun. I wore a white dress with a pop of neon color,” she said. “Versace was great, it was super fun and I enjoyed that a lot, too.”

Dream Out Loud’s Fall 2013 Collection”

When she’s not on the red carpet Selena loves to be comfy and cute — and her Dream Out Loud collection for Kmart is a perfect reflection of that. She debuted the Fall 2013 line in NYC on July 24 and told us all about her inspiration for the fall looks! “For this collection we wanted to do a little bit more of a print look so we have really fun print leggings and jeggings and print tops that you could wear because I think that that’s more of a statement piece. I’ve been more of a black-and-gray kind of girl for forever, so I like popping some color or some really fun prints.”

We’re loving Selena’s fun fall prints, especially the lace tank she wore to the event that’s from the collection! It’s so refreshing to see a star actually wearing their own clothes. Being comfortable in her own line is actually really important to Selena — she’s so genuine. “I think my line has always been geared toward a younger audience but at the same time it’s something that I always want to be comfortable wearing. Every time we create a fun look or a fun top I always want it to be comfortable and something I really would wear.” We love that Selena wants to wear her own clothes because that means we can dress just like the stylish star.

Selena’s passion for fashion is evident and it’s so great that she really enjoys playing dress up for the red carpet! “I’ve had so much fun. I feel like every year we get to do something really fun; my stylist and I have a great time.”

Have you been enjoying Selena’s fashion as much as we have?
