Here’s a sentence I never thought I’d write: Jay-Z is coming out swinging against Miley Cyrus – again — for her newfound love of twerking. During a question-and-answer session with fans July 8, Beyoncé‘s husband received the following question from a fan: “You really think Miley Cyrus still twerking somewhere in America?” Then came his epic answer.
“Yes!” Jay-Z tweeted back. “She represents an old worlds worst nightmare.”
Lack of punctuation aside, Jay is clearly taking a major dig at the former Hannah Montana star. I mean, how many different ways can you interpret him calling her ‘an old world’s worst nightmare?’
Jay-Z Mocks Miley’s Twerking On His New Album
Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time Jay-Z has dissed Miley, specifically for her twerk obsession. His new album, Magna Carta… Holy Grail, contains a song titled “Somewhere In America,” and his lyrics couldn’t be any more pointed:
When I was talking Instagram, last thing you wanted was your picture snapped. Feds still lurking, they see I'm still putting work in, 'cause somewhereinamerica, Miley Cyrus is still twerkin', ha! Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk, twerk, twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley, twerk. Twerk, yeah, ugh-huh. Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley — Only in America.
