A newly refurbished post-natal room in the Lindo Wing with a “clean, classic modern hotel feel” includes a bathroom, safe, fridge, satellite television, bedside phone and a fully reclining chair for Prince William, 31, according to the Daily Mail.
The room has been set aside for Kate on a different floor than other new mothers in the wing.
Preparations For Kate Middleton To Go Into Labor
As her July 13 due date is less than a week away, everyone is prepared for Kate to go into labor any time, and photographers are in place for Kate’s arrival. The front windows in the Lindo Wing have even been frosted so people can’t see in!
Whenever Kate does go into labor, she will reportedly be taken into Lindo through one of its side entrances and be placed in one of the six rooms on the wing’s third floor. After giving birth, she will be moved to the post-natal room where she will rest-up in luxury.
Once the royal baby is born, the gender, weight and time of birth will be announced just inside the gates of Buckingham Palace on a wood and gold easel. On top of the documented announcement, a 41-gun salute will occur in Hyde Park. The world will definitely know when the baby has arrived!
