The Browns are back! A fourth season of TLC’s Sister Wives kicks off July 21 at 9 p.m., and it looks like the multi-part family — headed by husband Kody Brown and wives Meri, 42, Janelle, 44, Christine, 41, and Robyn – might be reaching its breaking point. In a just-released clip from the season premiere, Kody and his wives are seen bickering about the status of their family business, “Sister Wives Closet.” Meri appears to be the person most dedicated to making it a success, but she’s beginning to doubt that the gang can make it work.
“I just see the reality of our life, and I see that we need these multiple streams of income that we’ve talked about as a family for a long time; that’s how it always has been,” she says in a taped confessional. “I feel the pressure.”
Poor Meri certainly isn’t getting a lot of support from her fellow wives; and don’t even get us started on Kody!
“It is a challenge working with my wives,” he admits in his confessional. “Some days, I don’t want to work with them. I want to run away screaming. Kicking and screaming. Throwing my clothes off.”
Now that is something we wouldn’t want to see!
More Drama For The ‘Sister Wives’
Along with having to deal with the struggling family business, Sister Wives viewers will get more insight than ever into the Browns’ complicated relationships. Most importantly, we’ll finally get to see whether or not Meri lets Robyn be her surrogate!

After living in separate rental homes for the past two years, the Browns are one step closer to fulfilling their dream of being together under one roof, moving into four adjacent houses in the same neighborhood. But now they have four large mortgages anda struggling start-up jewelry business. Meanwhile, Meri finally decides on whether or not to accept Robyn's offer to be her surrogate, but will Kody agree with her decision? And as more kids prepare to leave the nest, Kody and the wives have a surprise in store that will rebuild the closeness the family once shared back in Utah.
