Wedding Beauty Tips — Exclusive Interview With Esthetician Angela Orlandi

We loved interviewing Angela. She gave us some tips on how to maintain the effects of your facial and when to get one before your big day! She also gave us some recommendations on which products to use! Read our exclusive interview below!

How far in advance should you get a facial before your wedding?

At Face Place, we recommend coming in once a month, a few months prior to your wedding — our facial treatment is actually so great that you can come in just one week in advance for an instant glow. Face Place’s facial combines thorough extractions along with a galvanic current that’s used to tighten fine lines and wrinkles, as well as the use of vitamin C and antioxidants during the treatment to keep your skin glowing and healthy up through your wedding day.

What is a great at-home skincare regimen to keep your face gorgeous and glowing in-between facials?

The trick to maintain glowing and radiant skin in-between facials is all about at-home maintenance. Washing your face with a gentle cleanser (I recommend Face Place Gentle Daily Cleanser) morning and night is the most important step, followed by an alcohol-free toner, serum and moisturizer. Exfoliating a few times a week will also help your facial products absorb into your skin better, and also keeps the skin from looking dull. My favorite exfoliator is the Face Place Face Refinisher. And always remember to use an SPF every single day (SPF 30 and above is best) to reduce sun damage and brown spots.

Any other skin care tips or advice for brides-to-be?

The best thing you can do before your wedding is to remember to pamper yourself beforehand. Facials and spa treatments will not only help relieve stress, but will also keep your skin in tip top shape!

Thank you Angela for these awesome tips! Luckily, Face Place has three locations – New York, West Hollywood and Studio City!

HollywoodLifers, have you ever gotten a facial?
