Who knew Harry was such a conservative guy? After looking clearly displeased by Miley’s dancing at the VMAs on Aug. 25, the Directioner lashed out against the entire twerking fad in general!
Harry Styles might like to flirt, but he apparently does NOT like his girls too sexy. In a new interview, the One Direction star made it clear that he hated twerking — was he referring to Miley Cyrus specifically?
Harry Styles Rails Against Twerking
Harry looked particularly unamused by Miley’s ultimate twerk-a-thon at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25, and now we know why! “I think it’s quite inappropriate,” Harry said when Moviefone asked him about the twerking craze. “Especially for the age groups it’s aimed at.”
“I think it’s, you know, promoting promiscuity,” Harry added.
Those are fighting words, Harry! Well, at least as far as Miley is concerned.
Harry Styles’ Week Of Dissing Miley Cyrus
Ever since the VMAs, Harry appears to be on a vendetta against Miley (perhaps he considers her performance a crime against his eyes?).
At the New York City premiere for This Is Us, Harry was sarcastic when talking about what he thought about Miley at the VMAs. “It was very reserved,” he joked. “I think she’s quite shy and it’s about time she came out of her shell a bit.”
Also at the NYC premiere, Harry mocked Mileys now-signature pose by jutting his tongue out exactly like she does!
