Kristen Stewart is going back to school, aiming for an English Literature degree from the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles. With the actress brushing up on her F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway, is she planning on giving up her life in front of the cameras?
Kristen Stewart: Is She Giving Up Acting?
Thankfully no, a source close to K-Stew tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. ”Not that it is much of a surprise but Kristen will be an actress forever,” the source reveals. “Millions of dollars will always win out and extra curricular activities like taking classes will be just extra stuff that she will do to defeat boredom.”
“This UCLA happening is just something to do in between film roles. She is happy to do other things and learn while she is an active actress.”
Kristen, 23, is not only serious about her education, she also has some exciting sporting activities of which she’d like to learn.
“She also wants to learn to fly and she also wants to surf more,” the source adds. “She really is excited to use her celebrity status to open all doors to make her life a world of endless enjoyment.”
Kristen Stewart Shares Her Views On School
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Kristen gave a candid interview to The Hollywood Reporter about her views on college while publicizing her film On The Road at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012.
"I was always good in school — like, kind of reluctantly… [and] I never, ever imagined that I wouldn't go to college,” she says. “I just got caught up in things.
"What I knew when I was younger was that I wanted to know that I was going to be really challenged, and I am. I didn't want to step out of what was already really challenging me."
So now that K-Stew has the acting thing down-pat, looks like she’s decided to tackle writing theses about Walt Whitman next!
