Everybody was waiting to see Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber at the Teen Choice Awards on Aug. 11 in Los Angeles to see how the on-again, off-again couple would handle the big event. But even though the “Come & Get It” singer was presenting an award, he was nowhere to be seen!

This year’s show was obviously a big night for both Selena and Justin, as they were both nominated for multiple big awards! In addition to being a presenter, Selena was nominated in six categories: Female Artist, Choice Single, Break Up Song, Summer Music Star, Smile and Choice Female Hottie.
Justin, meanwhile, was nominated for four awards: Male Artist, Choice Single, Male Hottie and Twitter Personality.
There’s no way the two were going to let their rocky relationship keep them from attending such a huge event — or so we thought! Justin decided to take the night off, instead tweeting “We on a break! #restandrelaxation #unlessIhitthestudio.”

So does this mean Justin and Selena are done for good? Justin did show his love for Selena by coming to her 21st birthday party in July with a single red rose, but he has since been spotted partying and flirting with other sexy girls. Selena, meanwhile, has said numerous times in interviews that she’s single.
