Miley and Liam have been battling breakup rumors, but the engaged couple showed up for the Teen Choice Awards hand-in-hand! Looks like their hot and cold love is back on!
Even though Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have rarely been spotted together in public lately and fighting rumors of a split, the couple revealed how much they truly care for each other by arriving together at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, August 11. It’s such a big night for the engaged pair — Miley and Liam were both nominated to win major awards! It’s so amazing to see them keep the relationship alive and support each other.
Liam Hemsworth & Miley Cyrus Together At Teen Choice Awards
Obviously, it’s a night that neither star could miss. 20-year-old Miley was nominated for multiple awards, including Choice Female Hottie, Choice Single, Choice Summer Music Star, Choice Style Icon, and more. Liam, meanwhile, was up for Choice Male Hottie, as well as presenting at the show.
They showed their support for each other before the show and during it! After winning the Choice Summer Song award, Miley adorably thanked “her boo.” Short and sweet — but a nice, simple way to acknowledge Liam!
Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth: Still Up & Down?
Although Miley and Liam have stayed out of the public eye together lately, they did put in a joint appearance at his Paranoia premiere in Hollywood on August 8. However, our EXCLUSIVE reporting reveals that it wasn’t a happy evening, as they barely touched or talked to each other. According to our eyewitness:
Miley and Liam arrived together, and they took photos, but Miley went inside while Liam worked the carpet. He refused to answer any questions about Miley and seemed annoyed, like he didn't want to be there. Liam's family was there to support him, but they completely ignored Miley when she was there. They literally had their backs to her. Meanwhile, Miley and Liam barely talked or acknowledged each other. At one point, she gave him a light kiss, but it was weak. They went inside for the screening, sat next to each other, but turned away from each other and didn't really talk to each other.
We’re sad to hear they didn’t seem to enjoy each other’s company at the premiere, but hopefully their appearance together proves they’re on the path to working things out again!
