The ‘Teen Mom 2′ star’s 4-year-old daughter Ali suffers from a developmental disorder that she was born with. Leah reportedly received news that her daughter’s condition may one day leave her unable to walk.

Leah Messer‘s 4-year-old daughter Aliannah Simms‘ health is reportedly worsening. Her developmental disorder may eventually deteriorate her muscles so badly that she may be left unable to walk. Leah’s family is reportedly moving from their West Virginia home to be able to find a place that better accommodates the little girl’s needs.

Leah Messer’s Daughter Ali May Need Wheelchair — Health Deteriorating

Ali has had her share of health problems since she was born with a muscle disorder. She has been in and out of hospitals for all of her 4 years of life, and while her family has always remained hopeful for her improvement, Leah and her husband Jeremy Calvert learned that Ali’s condition may only be getting worse.

"Things went from bad to worse with Ali and it turns out that she could have to be in a wheelchair soon," a source close to the couple reveals to Radar Online.

Ali’s health means big changes for Leah and her family. "This is why Leah and Jeremy have to move out of their new house,” reveals the source. ”They need a house without stairs that's more handicapped accessible for Ali. They are also planning on getting a place that allows horses because that will be part of Ali's therapy."

Leah has kept the exact details of Ali’s condition private, but her daughter with ex-husband Corey Simms suffers from "some sort of mitochondrial disease,” reveals a source close to Leah.

"Ali has been doing therapy for a few years now and seemed to be improving, however, from what the doctor told the family at Ali's big doctor appointment in July, her disorder will just keep getting worse," the insider told Radar Online.

This unfortunately means that “apparently the muscles will start to deteriorate and she will most likely lose the ability to walk."

Leah Messer Devastated By News Of Ali’s Health

Leah “was wrecked by the news, because they had a lot of hope that she would continue to improve," the source told Radar. On Aug. 13 Leah took to Twitter to express her heartache:

If just one thing would be alright. It’s so easy for me to appreciate the littlest things with this journey called life I’ve been given.

Our thoughts are with Leah’s family.
