Zayn, 20, and Perrie, 20, have gotten both positive and negative feedback about their engagement, but fans have mostly been positive!

Following the premiere of One Direction: This Is Us on Aug. 20, where Zerrie were seen walking the carpet together, Perrie’s best friend tweeted, “Well I just want to say that my best’un looked f**king beautiful tonight! :’) @
A few hours later, she captioned a photo of Perrie flaunting her ring and said, “So it’s official, Perrie & Zayn are engaged! Couldn’t be happier! Love You Both! :’) #CongratsPerrieAndZayn.”
One Direction's rep confirmed the engagement to HollywoodLife.com, saying, "Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private."
