Melinda Clarke has landed a guest-starring spot in a spring episode of the CBS drama, playing the presumed-dead mother of Sarah Jones’ Mia Rizzo, TVGuide.com reports.

• Bryan Cranston has signed a first look deal with Sony Pictures TV, per Deadline. The pact — which keeps the actor in business with his Breaking Bad bosses — will find Cranston developing and producing new series for the studio, including potential star vehicles for himself.
