New photos of Kate Middleton‘s bare baby bump were released on Feb. 13 in a four-page spread in Star magazine that reveals new angles of her pregnant figure. The pics, which were reportedly taken by another vacationer on the island of Mustique, show Kate and husband Prince William walking on the beach and frolicking in the ocean.
The photos in America’s Star come the same day as Italian gossip magazine Chi published photos of a bikini-clad Kate with her baby bump exposed.
Publication of the vacation photos came with a public outcry from St. James’s Palace, who called the photos a “breach of privacy.”
St. James Palace Speaks Out About Vacation Photos
"We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas," a St James' Palace spokesman tellsHollywoodLife.com. "This is a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."
The statement was released on Feb. 12 after they learned Chi magazine had planned to publish the photos.
Kate Middleton Caught In Topless Photo Scandal In September
In September 2012, the Duchess was also caught in a nude photo scandal when a 26-page spread of Kate sunbathing topless while she was on vacation was published in the French magazine Closer.
Prince William requested that the photographer who took the photos be jailed, and the royal couple won a lawsuit to prevent any more media outlets from publishing topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge.
