How To Get Vanessa Hudgen’s Fashion Week Beauty Look
HollywoodLife.com spoke exclusively with celebrity makeup artist Bonnie Boscarelli, who works at Beauty Collection in West Hollywood, on how to copy V’s look. Celebs like Reese Witherspoon, Lisa Rinna, Camille Grammer, and Denise Richards have all been spotted at Beauty Collection.
To prep your face, use Vincent Longo Liquid Canvas Dew Finish SPF 15 Radiant Glow Foundation. Bonnie says, “This foundation gives a moist, medium coverage. Antioxidants including Vitamin E protect from free radical damage. Soothing, emollient texture imparts a radiant glow to skin. The lightweight, cushiony fluid blends easily and keeps skin soft while creating a flawless complexion. Use a foundation brush in light, downward strokes, blending well, to create a flawless complexion.”
For cheeks, use Lorac Pro Powder Cheek Stain in Coral Crush. Bonnie says, the blush “gives a flush of long-lasting, natural-looking color. Contains antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to nourish and hydrate skin. Coral Crush is a universally flattering natural pink shade with a peach shimmer. Apply blush using face and cheek brush to apples of cheeks, blending upward toward temple.”
On eyelids, Bonnie recommends Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palette. “It contains 8 shimmer and 8 matte ulta-pigmented shadows. For Vanessa's look, use the matte shadows in Cream, Mauve, and Espresso to create a natural but contoured eye. The palette also contains a mini eye primer. Using traditional shadow brush, apply mauve shadow over lid and cream shadow to brow bone. Using a fluffy, definer brush blend espresso into crease.”
For eyeliner, use Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner in Deep Black. This “top-selling eyeliner is gel-based and glides on easily. It is perfect for lining the inner rim of eyes and won't budge once it dries. Using angled liner brush apply eyeliner in a fine line to upper lash and inner rim.”
To make your lashes really stand out, use Lorac Pro Mascara in Black. “This lengthening and thickening mascara with a jumbo brush for dramatic, ultra-thick lashes. It is smudge-resistant, flake-proof, and buildable. Apply the first coat, wait a minute for it to dry, then add another coat for extra volume.”
To get coral cheeks like Vanessa, try Smashbox’s Love Me Be Legendary Lipstick in Tempt Me. “It’s a bold coral color that contains Vitamins C & E and shea butter for major moisturization. Apply from the stick, and blot with a tissue to remove any excess. Then add a second layer” recommends Bonnie.
