Chris Brown Was Ready To Talk About Rihanna Assault On 'Today' Show Apr 4th 2013, 02:01 When Matt Lauer asked Chris about his troubled past on ‘Today’, Chris handled the situation well. A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Chris knew he was going to be asked about it, so he was fully prepared for the interview! Chris Brown, 23, is used to his past with Rihanna, 25, being brought up constantly, so when he appeared on the Today show in front of a national audience, he was ready to talk about it. A source reveals to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that when Chris was faced with difficult questions during the interview, he relied on openness and honesty. “[Chris] ain’t rating himself,” the source explains. ”He just went out there and opened up, and just came through with it.” Chris Brown Was Prepared To Discuss Rihanna Assault When host Matt Lauer asked Chris about the assault, the singer answered the questions calmly and maturely.
