While Rihanna is one we always love to watch on the red carpet it wasn’t until recently that she dived into the fashion world with her very own line — but now that she did she couldn’t be happier! The 25-year-old debuted her River Island capsule collection during London Fashion Week on Feb. 16 and ever since the looks came down the runway the star has been showing them off on multiple occasions — and she recently did just that, taking to twitter on Apr. 2 to show her fans two looks from the collection.
Rihanna River Island Collection:
In one picture Rihanna is wearing the sheer overall maxi dress that combines a feminine silhouette with a grungy vibe. Considering sheer was a major trend for Spring 2013 we aren’t surprised to see the detailing incorporated in this look — and there’s no denying the fact that the silhouette looks fantastic on the star! The sheer fabric paired with the overall bib resulted in an interesting design, and you can scoop up her frock right HERE for $150. In the image Rihanna is sporting the frock with a baseball cap. She posted the image with the caption, “Rockin dat #RIHforRIVERISLAND.”
Rihanna’s Crop Top:
In the next photo that Rihanna shared the star flaunted her toned tummy in the mid-wash denim dungaree crop top. She posted the image saying, “Cropped denim farmer brown top #RIHANNAforRIVERISLAND.” Since the star dares to bare her body on multiple occasions we aren’t surprised to see the sexy crop top trend worked into her debut collection. Again the interesting use of an overall bib came into play — and it’s a great display of Rihanna’s ability to look so sexy even when she’s dressing down. Sometimes when celebs team up with a brand the collection doesn’t always reflect the star’s sense of style, but clearly that wasn’t the case in this instance. All you have to do is take one glance at the edgy and cool collection and you can tell that Rihanna was very involved — the clothes look like they came right out of her closet! That must be why she loves showing off the looks every chance she can get.
