The environmentally savvy mother was seen out on April 2 with her daughter. The cute mother and daughter duo were shopping and we just can’t get over the Haven’s cute pout!
Jessica Alba, 31, and her 20-month-old daughter, Haven, were shopping at Barney New York in Beverly Hills on April 2. The young toddler was dressed for the sunny weather in a pink shirt with a peacock on it, salmon colored shoes, jeans, and a white sweater. Jessica looked very casual in a white long-sleeved shirt, pink scarf, and jeans.
Jessica Alba’s New Book
The celebrity mom has been promoting her book, The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You. The book focuses on her new business and also her life as a mother raising kids in Hollywood. She also launched The Honest Company after Haven’s birth. The mother recently talked about her new role as a business woman with Latina.
“The Honest Company has weirdly allowed me to be more creative in my roles, and really work with people I love and appreciate and want to learn from,” said Jessica. “This is where my work is now.”
Her company provides a collection of organic nappies, baby wipes, and bath products that she uses for her own daughters.
How Jessica Alba Came Up With The Idea For Organic Kid Products
“I had an allergic reaction to this quote/unquote baby detergent and I was like if this is making me have a reaction what will it do to my child?” she said. “I did a lot of research and I found out that there’s lots of toxic chemicals in everything from baby detergent to shampoos and other cleaning products.”
After that, she got the idea for her company, but also found out so many other companies don’t live the honest life and falsely label their products!
“Major corporate brands that label their products ‘eco-friendly’ or ‘non-toxic’ are usually referring to the way they make their packaging, not their product.”
