Kristen– you’ve done a great job of surviving a major relationship crisis and re-igniting your romance with Rob. But that doesn’t mean you should in any way pullback from your career. You’re just 23 and it’s the time of your life, when you should be able to have  it ALL!

Kristen Stewart, it’s been impressive how you’ve dedicated yourself to rebuilding  the love and trust in your relationship with Robert Pattinson. Even when it seemed like Rob was questioning his future with you during a trial separation, while he filmed, The Rover for 64 days, you stayed strong and loyal.  Your commitment to Rob paid off  and since he returned to Los Angeles on March 19 — you two have been inseparable. Sources tell us that Rob has showered you with affection and we hear that you are more in love than ever. That’s fantastic Kristen, and we understand the urge to overcompensate after your mistaken affair, but that doesn’t mean that you should  make your career secondary to your relationship now. You can have a healthy, strong relationship AND a fulfilling career as an actress!

Kristen Stewart: Should She Put Robert Pattinson Ahead Of Her Career?

Kristen — we learned on April 18 that you had decided to drop out of Focus, the romantic con-artist movie that would have been your first role since starring in Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and On The Road. You thought working alongside 44-year-old Will Smith would be an issue, according to HollywoodLife.com’s sister site, Variety, and I agree — it definitely would have been strange playing a role that had you getting romantic with someone who’s 21 years older than yourself. But a source told us that you actually turned down the role mainly because you “want to focus on [your] relationship with Rob.”

“Filming Focus would have conflicted with spending time with Rob and she doesn’t want to take any chances. She meant it when she said Rob was her number one priority,” the source explained.

Kristen — I think it’s great that you’ve taken time to think about your relationship. Between your cheating mistake in July 2012 and your trial separation with Rob while he was in Australia, you’ve had ample opportunity to step back and take a hard look at your life and your relationship. But I don’t think putting Rob ahead of your own development as an actress is the right decision for you — and even for your relationship.

Kristen Stewart: You Don’t Have To Put Robert Pattinson First

You can’t let your relationship with Rob, as much as you love him, prevent you from fulfilling your aspirations as an actress. You aren’t married to Rob, you don’t have any children together, and you’re 23 years old .Now is the time to challenge yourself as a performer. And Rob should actually support that – in fact, I bet that he does support that.

It was your confidence and independence that attracted Rob to you in the first place, when he first met you and began working with you ! He loved how you did your own thing and weren’t one of those young women who made your romances the center of your life, to the exclusion of all else. And remember- it wasn’t your independent streak or your career commitment that almost split you and Rob up. Plain and simple, it was your cheating with director Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders and the trust issues that followed, that almost ended your relationship with Rob.

That means that as long as you and Rob have worked out those trust issues, you should  feel comfortable taking on any acting roles that you want even if it means separating you fromRob for a short time. After all, isn’t that what trust is all about?

Kristen Stewart: You May Regret This Decision

Kristen — you need to follow your personal aspirations as well as your heart, or else you could end up regretting it forever. First of all, overcompensating like this and vowing to put Rob first, above all else, could actually backfire by turning Rob off. Like I said, he loves you for the independent girl you are. If he starts to feel like you’re too dependent or you’re suffocating him, you two could end up fighting and that will tear you apart (even though that’s what you were trying to avoid in the first place).

Secondly, as much as we all hope you and Rob live happily ever after, the fact is that you’re both very young and the relationship could very well run its course and naturally end anyway. Can you imagine how you’ll feel if you and Rob split and there are all of these great movie roles that you turned down just for Rob? You’ll resent him forever and you’ll be angry at yourself.

Kristen Stewart: You Don’t Have To Choose Between Love & A Career

The fact is Kristen, you can have a healthy romantic relationship and a good career — you don’t have to put pressure on yourself  to choose one over the other.

So Focus wasn’t the right fit for you, and spending time with Rob at Coachella was more important than going to the MTV Movie Awards, I get that. But the next time a role comes up, consider what it would do for your acting career — don’t worry about whether it will affect your relationship with Rob.

You and Rob are mature, down to earth young people, and most importantly hopelessly in love with each other. That makes both of you especially equipped to have great careers and a successful romantic relationship. So Kristen, don’t give up building your acting acting career, just to protect your love with Rob!
