Are you ready to say goodbye to Mystic Falls High School? Neither is Nina!
Graduation is always a bittersweet occasion, but when you’re graduating from Mystic Falls High School, it’s also bound to be a bloody one! Nina Dobrev posted a behind-the-scenes Vampire Diaries photo to her WhoSay account April 18, giving fans their first ‘bite’ from the sure-to-be-epic fourth season finale.
“On set, filming the TVD season 4 finale episode – graduation, to be specific – the end of a chapter..bittersweet,” Nina tweeted, along with the above photo.
In typical Mystic Falls fashion, the event looks to be very festive and fun — but I’m sure it won’t be long before that stage is torn to pieces by some ungodly force. (There’s always some ungodly force.)
More ‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 4 Spoilers
With only five episodes left this season — including tonight’s super-intense prom — Mystic Falls is preparing to enter its darkest hour.
Next week’s episode, “The Originals,” serves as a backdoor pilot for the show’s proposed spin-off. It finds Klaus (Joseph Morgan) heading to New Orleans and reuniting with his protegé Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who has now assumed control of the city’s supernatural residents. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) follows his brother to the Big Easy, only to discover that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is already there — and in serious trouble.
Then there’s the May 2 episode, titled “She’s Undone,” in which Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) call on a “surprising source” to help them get through to Elena. Equally surprising, Bonnie (Kat Graham) strikes a deal with Katherine to help her take down Silas once and for all.
We also have new details about the May 9 episode, “The Walking Dead,” which will bring “ghosts” back to town — and they’re not all friendly like Casper.
