The rapper/mogul caused mass hysteria on May 15 when he tweeted that he would be appearing on ‘Downton Abbey.’ Turns out he wasn’t lying (well, sort of). Watch Diddy’s ‘Downton’ scenes below!

On May 15, Diddy tweeted, “MY BIG NEWS: So happy to announce that Im a series regular on DOWNTON ABBEY-my favorite show+i’ll be debuting a sneak peek tonight 12am PST!” Fans of the show were shocked, and PBS called the claim “simply not true.” We can now clear everything up for you — Diddy will not be on Downton Abbey, but he did make parody video of Downton Abbey for Funnyordie.com!

Diddy Cast As Lord Wolcott Of ‘Downton Abbey’

“I’m making the announcement — I’m the first black cast member on Downton Abbey,” Diddy says introducing the video. We’d like to mention that throughout the whole five-minute video, Diddy pronounces Downton Abbey, “Downtown Abbey,” so that’s hilarious.

The video that follows is a handful of clips of Diddy digitally inserted into Downton scenes. It kicks off on a great note with Diddy (as “Lord Wolcott”) judging the Dowager Countess’ crankiness — “Oh, that was a little bitchy,” he says, pretty much speaking for all of us.

And there’s an amazing scene between him and Thomas Barrow, who surprisingly comes on to Diddy in a bedroom! “I can’t love you,” Diddy screams dramatically, “not when I have Sybil, and Mary, and Mrs. Patmore, and the Dowager Countess, and a couple of them maids — how could I have room for you!?”

Diddy Shakes Things Up On ‘Downton Abbey’

But nothing tops the end of the video, which features a tea talk between Diddy, the Dowager Countess, and Isobel Crawley. “Why don’t we stop this bickering and have a sip of some libation,” Diddy says, holding up a few bottles of Diddy-sponsored Ciroc vodka. “Now… I want you two to kiss. In front of me. And I want you to use your tongues.”

If only Diddy was actually going to be on Downton (or shall we say “Downtown“)! Watch the video below and let us know what you think, HollywoodLifers!
