New Orleans Shooting — Arrest Made In Mother’s Day Case
19 people were left wounded after a man opened gun fire. CNN is reporting that a SWAT team arrested Akein on May 15 in New Orleans. The city is reportedly very scared because this is the third time this year that someone has opened fired into large crowds on a holiday.
Akein has been identified as a suspect after footage of the shooting was released to the public. In the footage you see a man standing there near the crowd and then running into it. Hopefully this new arrest will lead to some answers as to why this happened.
A $10,000 award was left for anyone that could reveal who was responsible.
