Forget those gay rumors — Kanye West is totally in love with Kim Kardashian, and he proved it once more at the Adult Swim upfront party at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on May 15.
Kanye West ‘Amazing’ — Rapper Performs Love Song For Kim Kardashian
Kanye wouldn’t be Kanye unless he was sharing a lot through his music. This time, the hunky rapper addressed his love for Kim, who’s due to give birth to their baby in June, and his disdain for being a “celebrity” in a new track, “Awesome.”
“I’d rather do nothing with you than something new with somebody new,” Kanye rapped in one lyric at the event, where Kim and Glee star Kevin McHale were just a few in the audience.
During the surprise performance, Kim tweeted, “My baby killin it tonight!!!!!” Aw!
Kanye West: I’m Not A Celebrity
It’s refreshing to hear Kanye’s new track, especially because it’s mostly about his love for Kim. However, Kanye also sings about how he’ll never succumb to the stereotypes of being a celebrity.
In another lyric, Kanye raps, “I ain’t no motherf***ing celebrity. I ain’t running for office. I ain’t kissing nobody’s motherf***ing babies. I drop your baby and you sue me and s***.”
Maybe Kanye’s still mad about running into a sign while being hounded by the paparazzi.
