Hooray! The boys of One Direction surprised their fans by announcing that not only are they are going a world tour, they are releasing a new album later this year!
The boys of One Direction are really spoiling their fans! On May 16 the boys held a press conference in London to announce that they are not only embarking on a world wide tour that will be “bigger” then anything they have done before, they will also be releasing a new album later this year!

The boys held a press conference in London to announce the Where We Are world tour, which will kick off in April 2014, and will see the boys travel as far as South America!
Niall Horan said, “We’re incredibly excited to announce we’re doing a worldwide stadium tour in 2014. We’re three years into it (being a band), so stepping out to an audience of 65,000 a night is incredible.”
“It’s important that the fans know it’s not the same tour going around again in stadiums,” added Harry Styles. “We want to make the stage bigger, with new songs. It’s going to be a completely different tour and a lot of fun.”
Speaking about the new album, Liam Payne said the sound would be “edgier.”
“It (the sound) kind of grows as we grow,” he said. “We want to do this as long as we can. We can’t believe this is happening all at once, but we’re just going to go with it. I’m looking around Wembley thinking ‘It’s huge – how are we going to sell out this place?’.”
