Miley may love to twerk all day and night, not everyone is impressed! Rapper Jay-Z has made it clear he’s not a fan — he’s actually laughing at her on his new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail!’
Miley Cyrus‘ famous twerking apparently isn’t for everyone. In Jay-Z‘s new song “Somewhere in America,” he actually laughs at Miley’s famous risque dance move.
Jay-Z Makes Fun Of Miley Cyrus
Jay-Z’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail will be released on July 7, but it’s already gone platinum after he’s released some of his songs early.
One song however, takes a stab at the one and only Miley Cyrus. Jay raps on “Somewhereinamerica”:
When I was talking Instagram, last thing you wanted was your picture snapped. Feds still lurking, they see I’m still putting work in, ’cause somewhereinamerica, Miley Cyrus is still twerkin’, ha! Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk, twerk, twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley, twerk. Twerk, yeah, ugh-huh. Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley — Only in America.
Miley’s Jay-Z Diss In 2009
You may remember Miley’s hit song, “Party in the USA,” when she sang “and a Jay-Z song is on.” However, when asked later in an interview which Jay song she was referring to, she simply said, “I've never heard a Jay-Z song. I don't listen to pop music.”
The irony of the situation is that now, Miley clearly does listen — and perform, pop music. She’s collaborated and became great friends with artists like Snoop Dogg and Justin Bieber.
And, while Jay may not love the dance that she’s made famous, it seems other are adopting it — even Rihanna has recorded a video of herself twerking!
