The first lady looked so fashionable on Independence Day — and you can get a glimpse of her festive frock right here!
After a whirlwind trip to Africa, (which also proved to be very stylish, of course!), Michelle Obama was back at home to celebrate the Fourth of July — and she looked great while doing so! Not only was the first family celebrating Independence Day, but their daughter, Malia, also turned 15 on July 4. What a fun family day!
Michelle Obama’s Fourth of July Dress 2013:
Michelle opted for a printed white frock that allowed the first lady to flaunt her favorite asset, her toned arms. Considering it was very hot on the Fourth of July, we think she made the right choice! The dress featured a collar and buttons before fanning out into a full skirt that extended right past the knee. The blue floral pattern started off very feint and then became more visible on the skirt of the frock — what appropriate colors for the Fourth of July! A pair of pearl earrings added the finishing touches to her casual chic ensemble.
On this occasion, her signature bangs were slicked back in a neat ‘do and were off her face, while her hair was styled in a neat bun at the nape of her neck.
The president also looked cool and comfortable, sporting a short-sleeved, button-down salmon shirt and a pair of chinos.
Fourth Of July At The White House:
The first family threw an Independence Day barbeque on the South Lawn of the White House, where the president and first lady thanked the members of the military while also celebrating Malia’s birthday — how sweet!
Not only did they have a wonderful day, but they looked great while doing so! Did you like Michelle’s outfit or do you wish she wore red, white, and blue?
