Beyonce, 31, has set the beauty world on fire with the snip of a scissor! Her drastic pixie cut has everyone taking, and so we spoke with a hair stylist who is always by Beyonce’s side — Rita Hazan — to see what she thinks about the new change!
Beyonce’s Hair Stylist Rita Hazan — Speaks On Her New Cut & Color
Rita told HollywoodLife.com:
Beyonce’s new look is modern and old Hollywood at the same time, and makes such a statement. We wanted the color to be soft and sexy so I chose to highlight her hair with champaign and summer blonde tones. By strategically highlighting her whole head in very tiny sections, we achieved the perfect look.
Rita colored her hair just before the cut and told us that she had no idea Beyonce was going for the big chop! Rita told me she showed up to see Bey, and she was shocked, but pleasantly surprised!
Rita, who has worked with Beyonce for about a year throughout her Mrs. Carter tour, and has also worked with Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez, says Beyonce loves her new look!
“She seemed really ready for a change and she was confident to go drastic,” Rita tells us. It’s definitely a show-stopping cut!
