The couple didn’t appear to be very happy at the premiere for Liam’s new movie ‘Paranoia’ on August 8. An eyewitness told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Liam and Miley were acting extremely distant at the premiere, and now a body language expert has agreed!
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus may still be engaged, but you could cut the tension between them with a knife at the premiere for Paranoia in Hollywood on August 8.
Liam Hemsworth & Miley Cyrus: Tension At Paranoia Premiere — All A Photo-Op?
“The bottom line is that there is a great deal of tension between them,” body language expert, Dr. Lillian Glass exclusively told HollywoodLife.com. ”They are both stiff, not smiling in all [their] photos, and it looks like it is a photo op. Obviously their hurt feelings toward one another is reflected in their body language.”
We also learned exclusively from an eyewitness that while the couple arrived together and took photos, Miley didn’t do any interviews and the couple barely even spoke!
“Miley went inside while Liam worked the carpet,” the source said. “He refused to answer any questions about Miley and seemed annoyed, like he didn't want to be there. Liam's family was there to support him, but they completely ignored Miley when she was there. They literally had their backs to her. Meanwhile, Miley and Liam barely talked or acknowledged each other. At one point, she gave him a light kiss, but it was weak. They went inside for the screening, sat next to each other, but turned away from each other and didn't really talk to each other.”
Miley & Liam: Strangers Getting Married?
Our source also explained that at the after party, there was no hand holding, canoodling, or any type of intimacy whatsoever.
“They acted like strangers,” the source said. “It was like they didn't even know each other. Miley was bubbly and seemed to have fun, but Liam was not into it. Miley tried to engage Liam a bit — she even leaned in for a kiss, but he held back until it was awkward and then he gave her a little peck. Mostly, they just ignored each other.”
