Cara is reportedly a ‘front-runner’ for an important part in the upcoming S&M-fest! But could she be playing?
Is British model Cara Delevingne on her way to Hollywood superstardom? Rihanna‘s good friend auditioned for the big-screen adaptation of E.L. James‘ erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, according to a new report from the UK’s Sun – but before you freak out, the story states Cara did not audition for the film’s coveted lead role.
Instead, she’s being considered for a “secondary” part, which many are assuming to be Anastasia’s best friend Kate.
“Cara is a front-runner for a part,” a source tells the UK publication. “She’s desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress.”
Cara Delevingne’s ‘Fifty Shades’ Connections
Though Cara’s audition has yet to be confirmed – HollywoodLife.com reached out to the model’s reps for comment — it would certainly make sense.
Cara, 20, made her big-screen debut in 2012′s Anna Karenina, which starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson; and Aaron’s wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson, is directing Fifty Shades! (And isn’t it all about who you know in Hollywood?)
HollywoodLifers, do you think Cara would be good in Fifty Shades? Drop a comment with your dream casting for the racy new flick!
