He and wife Kyla welcomed their second child and first son, Vernon Lindsay, on August 7, and Vince is likely to take his little man under his wing ‘in no time’! If there’s one actor that seems like he should have a son, it’s Vince Vaughn. The hilarious sports-loving actor is the perfect type of dad for boyish father-son bonding activities. Now that Vince’s wife, Kyla, gave birth to a baby boy on August 7, he’ll finally get his chance to do those activities! Vince Vaughn’s Baby Born: Vernon Lindsay Is Actor’s First Son Kyla, 34, gave birth to the couple’s second child on August 7, and Vince’s reps announced the birth until August 9. The couple decided to name their first son Vernon Lindsay after Vince’s father. How cute! Vernon measured a whopping 21 inches and weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz., and was born in a hospital just outside of Los Angeles. A friend of the couple told People this is an exciting time for the family: The whole family is so excited to welcome this sweet boy into the world. Vince announced in April that Kyla was expecting their second child. Vernon is now the younger brother to the couple’s daughter, Locklyn Kyla, 2½. Vernon and Locklyn — what a ring those two names have! Vince Vaughn Will Be ‘Out On The Ball Field In No Time’ With Son Vince, 43, definitely doesn’t hide the fact that he is a sports fan, especially when it comes to his Chicago roots. The family friend who spoke to People after the birth announcement asserted to Vince’s love for sports, telling the magazine that Vince will undoubtedly get his son into sports pronto. I am sure Vince will have Vernon out on the ball field in no time! We’re excited to see the mini Vince — and to see how long it is before he’s seen at a sports game with his daddy!
